Jewelry: Necklaces
From simple, hand-drilled turquoise beads to elaborate silver squash
blossoms, nothing represents the culture of the Southwest Indians like
their necklaces. Men and women alike counted their necklaces as their
most treasured possessions. The necklaces here represent the best of these
pieces, from a time when a personšs wealth was displayed in their personal
adornment.
