This monumental necklace is plate #22 in the Leekya book by Deb Slaney, and was exhibited at the Albuquerque Museum as part of the Leekya show. It also comes with a 1974 letter from C. G. Wallace discussing the necklace. 109 fetishes, including birds, platform birds, wolves and bears, strung on 8 strands of coral, turquoise and shell. Simply magnificent. Hanging length 16 3/4”, weight 162 grams, longest fetish measures 1 3/16” long.
