Hallmarked. Pine Springs, Arizona is a community on the Navajo reservation that was home to some of the finest sandcast artists anywhere in the 40s and 50s. Marked Pine Springs pieces are quite rare. The turquoise, while a later addition, is very high quality. 3 3/8” x 2 1/4”, takes up to a 1 1/2” leather, weight 58 grams.
