DiDeos was the first Indian silversmith known to use a hallmark, in 1926, & hallmarked pieces by him like this one are very rare. His talent as a casting artist was acknowledged by John Adair in his 1946 book, though his career was relatively short. Ex-Geraldine Howard collection. 4 1/4” wide, weight with chain 73 grams.
