One box of this quality would be quite an accomplishment, but a matched pair like this is simply incredible. Almost certainly made at one of the C. G. Wallace posts by one of the “box maker” silversmiths who shared stamps. Bead feet. Each box 2 3/8” diameter and 2 1/8” high, total weight 269 grams/pair.
