Large rectangular antique cut blue spinel and diamond ring hallmarked 14k yellow gold, and maker’s mark “Jerb.” The spinel is estimated at 4.11 cts. from direct measurement in the mount. The weight is 18.57dwt in ring size 5 ¼. There are 14 full-cut melee diamonds at 1.3 mm each , D-F color and an additional 4 full-cut diamonds at 3.4 mm each, also in the colorless range. The sides of the ring are bezel set with full-cut diamonds that range in size from 1.5 mm to 2.6 mm. The total estimated carat weight of all the diamonds is 1.061 ctw.
